TeamDev creates products that are used by lots of well-known clients all over the world. We help our clients build better software using our libraries, framework, etc. Also, we work on AI products, such as PurePhotos and WebSpellChecker.

Now, we want to grow our product team by hiring IT specialists in Portugal. 

We are looking for a Recruiter living or someone who wants to relocate to the Lisbon area to achieve this goal. We expect to see you in the office occasionally, but you can work mostly remotely. Also, you’ll be one of the company representatives at external IT events and increase our network activity.

The Team

You will be part of the People Integration team which is responsible for hiring new people. You will report directly to the Director of People Integration and work closely with another internal recruiter. Also, we are on the way to find a sourcer to improve our recruitment process. 

Processes and Instruments

As an international company with Ukrainian roots, we mostly hired local specialists, but now we have expanded borders. We’ll be happy to find the right person, regardless of his location, but we are extra interested in Portuguese office growth. 

Our processes are transparent, and we communicate directly with hiring managers. We have a simple and short candidate journey. You will not find delays because of unnecessary bureaucracy.

Vacancies technology stack includes but is not limited to JavaScript, Java, Kotlin, C++, C#, Python, and Golang. Most technical vacancies are middle-level or higher, but we have internship programs for trainee engineers. Also, we are working with non-tech positions in marketing, legal, sales, and other fields.

We are always open to using new tools or job boards, but our fundamental resources are LinkedIn, DOU, Djinni, and Indeed. Of course, our strategy can be more extensive based on vacancy difficulty.

We use Google services for many tasks, such as internal communication and interviewing. You’ll work with Mail, Chat, Drive, Calendar, and Meet daily. Our ATS is CleverStaff, but we also have access to PeopleForce as an HRM platform.

What will you do?

  • Manage full-cycle Recruiting Processes. 
  • Optimize Recruitment Processes: Utilize data-driven approaches to refine recruitment strategies, reducing time-to-hire and improving the quality of hires.
  • Build smooth and trusted relationships with candidates and assure the best candidate experience.
  • Promote Company Culture and sell the company’s vision to prospective hires.
  • Help with newcomers’ preboarding. 
  • Create, promote and develop our Portugal-based hiring network. 

Knowledge and skills required

  • 3+ years of experience with technical recruiting.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, Russian, Ukrainian.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with candidates from intern to C-level and hiring teams.
  • Knowledge of the latest theories, processes, and tools in the recruiting field.
  • Ability to analyze recruitment metrics and use data to inform recruitment strategies and decisions.
  • Organizational and time-management skills. 
  • Ability to network effectively within the tech industry to source candidates, including attending tech events, meetups, and participating in online tech communities.
  • Curiosity, interest in new technologies, and the world of IT.

Would be a plus:

  • Working experience in a product company. 
  • Intermediate+ Portuguese level.
  • Working experience/knowledge about specifics of the Portuguese IT job market.
